SBP reserves rise $23m in a week

April 10, 2025 (MLN): The foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) increased by $23.1 million or 0.22% WoW to $10.7 billion during the week ended on April 04, 2025, data released by State Bank of Pakistan showed on Thursday.

Similarly, the country's total reserves increased by $173m or 1.11% WoW to $15.75bn.

The reserves held by commercial banks rose by $149.9m or 3.06% WoW to $5.05bn.

In the current fiscal year, SBP-held reserves have increased by $1.31bn or 13.95%.

Meanwhile, the current calendar year has seen a decrease of $1.01bn or -8.63%.
