SBP reserves diminished by $81.2m in a week

August 31, 2023 (MLN): The foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) fell by $81.2 million or 1.02% WoW to $7.85 billion during the week ended on August 25, 2023, according to the data released by the central bank on Thursday.

Similarly, the country's total reserves decreased by $77.3m or 0.58% WoW to $13.17bn.

The reserves held by commercial banks rose by $3.9m or 0.07% WoW to $5.32bn.
