SBP reserves decrease by $178.5m in a week

June 08, 2023 (MLN): The foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) decreased by $178.50 million or 4.36% WoW to $ 3.912 billion during the week ended on June 02, 2023, according to the data released by the central bank on Thursday.

Similarly, the country's total reserves dropped by $178.2m or 1.87% WoW to $9.33bn.

The reserves held by commercial banks inched up slightly by $0.3m or 0.01% WoW to $5.42bn.
