SBP raises Rs1tr through T-bills auction

July 27, 2022 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has raised Rs1 trillion through the auction of three, six, and twelve-month T-bills against the target of Rs650 billion while the cut-off yields witnessed no change.
Accordingly, the cut-off yields for three, six, and twelve-month stood at 15.75%, 15.80%, and 15.94%, respectively and the total amount raised for 3-month T-bills was Rs931.72bn, Rs30.90bn for 6-month, and Rs44bn for 12-month T-bills.
The market had offered Rs1.84tr, out of which the government accepted bids amounting to Rs1tr
