Sazgar: Three-wheeler sales surge by 29% MoM in May

June 10, 2022 (MLN): Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (SAZEW) sold 1,173 units of Auto Rickshaw during the month of May 2022, which was around 29% higher than the sales of 910 units made in the previous month, the company’s filing on PSX showed today.

In an announcement regarding the sales and production data of three-wheelers for the month of May 2022, the company informed that the production for the month totalled 1,196 units i.e., 18.5% higher than the units produced during the previous month.

In addition, the company sold 75 units of four wheelers-off road and passenger vehicles against the production of 84 units during the said month under review. While in the previous month, the company sold 107 units of four-wheelers against the production of 113 units.

Sazgar is a premier manufacturer of CNG 4 Stroke Auto Rickshaw (3 Wheelers) and Automotive Wheel Rims. With manufacturing facilities based in Pakistan and a Global Dealer Network, Sazgar is leading the market in Pakistan and also exporting to international markets.

Last year, the company had been awarded “Category -A, Greenfield Investment status” by the Ministry of Industries & Production of Pakistan.

The stock of the company was trading at Rs63.99 [12:23 PST], up by 32 paisa or 0.5% higher than yesterday's price.
