Sale of DAP drops by 33 percent in July

August 27, 2019 (MLN): DAP offtake during the month of July, 2019 stood at 202 thousand tonnes, which is 33.1 percent lesser than the offtake of July, 2018.

During Kharif 2019, cumulative DAP offtake increased by 5.8 percent as compared to same period of last year.

During July 2019, offtake of DAP decreased by 29, 47, 28 and 37 percent in Punjab, Sindh, KP and Balochistan respectively.

Total available DAP during July 2019 was 614 thousand tonnes comprising 504 thousand tonnes of opening balance, 33 thousand tonnes of imported supplies and 77 thousand tonnes of domestic production. DAP offtake was 202 thousand tonnes leaving a balance of 412 thousand tonnes for August, 2019.
