Rs139.762 million released power projects under PSDP so far

Sep 23: Out of the total allocation of Rs42531.230 million for power related projects under Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP), the government of Pakistan has released Rs139.762 million so far.

According to Planning Commission of Pakistan an amount of Rs60 million has been released for construction of 132-KV G/S at Isplinji district Mastung(QESCO), Rs 43 million for Construction of 132 KV(AIS) Grid Station at Deep Sea Port Gwadar and the associated 132-KV D/C transmission line(QESCO) and Rs.36.762 million for Construction of 132 KV Grid Station at Dadar and 132 KV SDT SibbiDadar T/Line (QESCO).

An amount of Rs 2500.000 million and Rs.990 million was allocated for Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Project (LESCO) and AMI Project (IESCO)-ADB respectively but no amount was released so far for the said projects. Similarly, a sum of Rs 1210 million was specified for Supply of Utilities to Special Economic Zones, Rs 6000 million for Interconnection of Isolated Makran / Gwadar Network at Basima via Nag G/Station from Panjgoor G/Station (QESCO), Rs 9500 million for Installation of 2 x 600 MW (Net)Coal Fired Power Project Jamshoro (ADB), Rs 1800 million for Construction of New 220 kV GudduSibbi Single Circuit Transmission Line for Improvement of Power Supply System in South areas(NTDC) in the PSDP but no fund was released for the said projects so far.
