RLNG prices slashed by 1.07% for SNGPL, 1.15% for SSGC

September 18, 2024 (MLN): Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) prices for September 2024 have been reduced by up to 1.07% for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and 1.15% for Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) respectively.

As per the latest update by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the new prices for SNGPL for transmission and distribution are $12.9208/MMBtu and $13.856/MMBtu, respectively for September.

In comparison with the prices of August 2024, the overall drop in terms of amount for SNGPL transmission is $0.1394/MMBtu, while for distribution it stands at $0.1505/MMBtu.

Furthermore, the updated prices for SSGC are $11.7589/MMBtu for transmission and $13.4205/MMBtu for distribution purposes.

Compared to the prices in August 2024, there has been an overall decrease of $0.1372/MMBtu for SSGC transmission and $0.1568/MMBtu for distribution.

The decision to reduce prices is mainly due to a rise in DES price and in accordance with the Policy Guidelines of the Federal Government.
