RLNG prices raised by 4.6% for SNGPL, 3.19% for SSGC

August 15, 2024 (MLN): Regassified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) prices for August 2024 have been raised by up to 4.6% for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and 3.19% for Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) respectively.

As per the latest update by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the new prices for SNGPL for transmission and distribution are $13.0603/MMBtu and $14.0065/MMBtu, respectively for August.

In comparison with the prices of July 2024, the overall rise in terms of amount for SNGPL transmission is $0.3741/MMBtu, while for distribution it stands at $0.6163/MMBtu.

Furthermore, the updated prices for SSGC are $11.8961/MMBtu for transmission and $13.5733/MMBtu for distribution purposes.

Compared to the prices in July 2024, there has been an overall increase of $0.368/MMBtu for SSGC transmission and $0.4166/MMBtu for distribution.

The decision to reduce prices is mainly due to a rise in DES price and in accordance with the Policy Guidelines of the Federal Government.
