Reforms to be introduced to broaden tax-net: Asad Umar

November 1, 2018 (MLN): Finance Minister Asad Umar has said that widening the tax net is vital to take forward the country on economic front, and necessary reforms will be introduced for this purpose.

The Minister said that productivity of Pakistan's agriculture sector will be enhanced by learning from the experiences of China, and the country can double its exports to China by pursuing the right kind of policies.

He also said that there are vast opportunities of investment in the country's different sectors including Information Technology.

He was addressing the World Memon Organization's Convention via video link in Karachi on Thursday 1^st November.
