Re-Composition: 34 companies added, 24 removed from KMI-All share Index

December 19, 2023 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) has carried out the Re-Composition exercise of the PSX-KMI All Share Islamic Index for the review period from January 01, 2023, to June 30, 2023, according to a notice issued by the local bourse on Monday.

The recomposed PSX-KMI All Share Islamic Index of Pakistan will comprise 258 companies, in aggregate, out of which 32 new companies are included in the Index, whereas, 24 companies have been removed from the Index.

In addition, the notice also listed the final index constituents and the total pool of KMI All Share Islamic Index companies.

To note, companies having less than 5% of free float and/or their shares are traded for less than 75% of total trading days shall be included in the index.
