Punjab CM announces solar project for farmers

May 13, 2024 (MLN): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Sunday announced to launch Solar Tubewell Project for farmers in the province.

According to a recent post by the Information Ministry, she announced this initiative during a meeting with Provincial Minister for Irrigation Kazim Pirzada in Lahore.

Maryam Nawaz said that twelve hundred water courses are being lined at the cost of Rs10 billion across the province.

She emphasized the need to ensure provision of ample water to the tail end farmers.
