PTCL authorized to potential investment in telecom sector

January 31, 2023 (MLN): The Board of Directors (BoD) of Pakistan Telecommunication Limited (PTCL) has allowed the company to explore potential investment opportunities in the telecom sector in Pakistan, the company's filing on PSX showed today.

At the time of writing, the scrip of the company is being traded at Rs6.31 per USD, up by 28 paisa or 4.64% DoD.

The company owns and operates telecommunication facilities and provides domestic and international telephone services and other communication facilities throughout Pakistan.

In addition, the company has also been licensed to provide such services in territories of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
