PSX resumes trading of FRR, VRR GIS with new profit rates

July 23, 2024 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has announced today that trading in the 3- and 5-year Fixed Rental Rate (FRR) and Variable Rental Rate (VRR) instruments issued on January 24, 2024, will resume on July 24, 2024.

The local bourse issued a notice today referring to a notice dated July 8, 2024, regarding the suspension of trading in GoP Ijarah Sukuk (GIS) due to issues related to the first rental payment.

Further to note that 3 & 5 Year VRR instruments of issue dated January 24, 2024 shall be tradeable based on revised profit rates details of which are as under:
