PSX recomposes JS Momentum Factor Index with 7 adjustments

January 07, 2025 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) has conducted the JS Momentum Factor Index (JSMFI) recomposition exercise as of December 31, 2024.
Under the relevant JSMF Index Rules, seven adjustments have been made to the index.
The incoming companies are Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MARI), Air Link Communication Limited (AIRLINK), Pak Elektron Limited (PAEL), Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL), Ghandhara Industries Limited (GHNI), Cnergyico PK Limited (CNERGY), and Treet Corporation Limited (TREET).
The ones to leave are; The Bank of Punjab (BOP), Fauji Foods Limited (FFL), GlaxoSmithKline Pakistan Limited (GLAXO), Habib Bank Limited (HBL), Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL), Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTC), and The Searle Company Limited (SEARL).

The above changes to the JSMFI take effect today January 07, 2025.
In addition, the notice also listed the revised list of JSMFI companies along with their weights in the index as of December 31, 2024.
