PSX issues list of securities trading in DFC & CSF market

January 17, 2020 (MLN): Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Thursday issued list of securities for trading in Deliverable Futures Contract (DFC) & Cash Settled Futures (CSF) Market.

Based on the final review, Sui Northern Gas Company Limited (SNGP) will be included in the Category A (enlists only those stocks that have been traded in a minimum 90% trading sessions under the review period) of DFC and CSF Contract with effect from the opening of DFC of April 2020 and CSF of June 2020.

In addition to this, Cherat Cement Company Limited (CHCC), Kot Addu Power Company Limited (KAPCO) and Unity Foods Limited (UNITY) will be removed from Category B (enlists only those stocks that have been traded in a minimum 70% trading sessions) of DFC of March 2020 due to the Impact Cost of less than 1% during the review period. Moreover, these companies will be shifted to Category A of DFC and CSF with effect from the opening DFC of March 2020 and CSF of May 2020.

On the other hand, new companies such as Avanceon Limited (AVN), Ghandhara Industries Limited (GHNI), Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited (PSMC) and Ghandhara Nissan Limited (GHNL) will be included in Category B of DFC with effect from the opening of DFC i.e. March 2020.
