KSE100 Index ended Wednesday's trading session with a 27 point gain to close at 31,101.38. Unlike the previous session when the market rallied in the last hour, Wednesday's session saw the market fall 157 points in the last 45 minutes of trade, touching a intraday low of 31,065.72 (-8.66) . The index had started positively, up 108 points and remained positive until 10 minutes from close. The index moved in a range of 320 points or 1.03% of previous close touching an intraday high of 31,386.35 (+311.97).
Total Volume imroved to 119 million shares compared to 107 million from the previous session. Out of 342 traded companies 154 closed up, 166 closed down while 22 remained unchanged. The Market Cap increased by Rs.17 Billion.
