October 19, 2023 (MLN): Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSX: PSO) has continued to make progress in recovering its outstanding dues from Pakistan International Airlines (PIAC), however, the outstanding debt still stands at a staggering Rs2.108 billion for this month.

It is important to mention that the national carrier has made payments worth Rs2.517bn, while PSO has supplied Rs3.45bn worth of fuel supplies to PIAC.

PSO has further supplied fuel worth Rs195 million today to the national carrier.

To recall, PSO had suspended the fuel supply amid PIAC’s inability to settle its dues, which, in turn, resulted in the cancelation of several PIA flights.
