PSMC extends motorcycle plant shutdown to September 15

September 14, 2023 (MLN): Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited (PSX: PSMC) has decided to extend the shutdown of its motorcycle plant to September 15, 2023, as revealed in the company's latest filing on PSX.

Notably, this comes after the motorcycle plant had been shut down till September 12, 2023.

The above decision is due to a shortage of inventory levels.

However, the automobile plant of PSMC will remain operative.

“Further update, if any, in this regard will be communicated accordingly,” the notice further reads.

PSMC is engaged in the assembling, progressive manufacturing, and marketing of Suzuki cars, pickups, vans, 4x4s motorcycles, and related spare parts.
