PPL gets further one year extension in Sui mining lease

June 02, 2022 (MLN): Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) has been allowed to continue production from the Sui mining lease for a further period of one year with effect from 1st June 2022, the company informed through a notice to exchange on Thursday.

The Sui mining lease area has been exempted by the Government of Pakistan from the application of Rule 34 of the Pakistan Petroleum (Production) Rules, 1949, it added.

Currently, the stock of the company is trading at 66.75 [10:24], down by 72 paisa or 1.07% DoD.
