POS integrated invoices rise by 26% to 48mn in March: FBR

April 13, 2022 (MLN): The invoices issued by Tier-1 Retailers integrated with the Point of Sale (POS) System surged to 48 million during the month of March 2022 against the integration of 38 million in February, depicting an increase of 26.32 percent, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) said Wednesday.

Taking to its Twitter handle, the board said, “The verified invoices rose to 410,000 in March when compared to 260,000 in February.

The board said that 48,000 individuals who shopped from outlets integrated with FBR POS System verified invoices in March compared to 39,000 in February 2022, showing a huge trust in the revenue board.
