PMEX Commodity Index up by 60 points to 4,083-level

May 21, 2020: On Wednesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index gained 60 point to close at 4,083. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.077 billion and the number of lots traded was 13,262.
The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.476 billion, followed by Silver (PKR 608.155 million), Platinum (PKR 486.056 million), Crude Oil (PKR 392.388 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 357.356 million), DJ (PKR 227.961 million), SP500 (PKR 221.094 million), NSDQ 100 (PKR 165.185 million), Natural Gas (PKR 134.798 million) and Copper (PKR 7.824 million).
In agriculture commodities, 24 lots Cotton amounting to PKR 11.388 million and one lot of Wheat amounting to PKR 4.131 million were traded.
