PMEX Commodity Index up by 122 points to close at 3,872 level

March 11, 2020: PMEX Commodity Index gained 122 points in today’s session and closed at 3,872 level. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.501 billion and the number of lots traded was 8,933.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.472 billion, followed by NSDQ100 (PKR 762.057 million), DJ (PKR 747.960 million), Crude Oil (PKR 489.446 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 291.018 million), Platinum (PKR 257.157 million), Brent Crude Oil (PKR 178.192 million), Silver (PKR 169.395 million), SP500 (PKR 89.984 million), Natural Gas (PKR 30.620 million) and Copper (PKR 12.385 million). In agriculture commodities, 3 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.465 million were traded.
