July 30, 2020: On Wednesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,764. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 12.615 billion and the number of lots traded was 13,428.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 8.833 billion, followed by Silver (PKR 1.282 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 863.570 million), Platinum (PKR 677.132 million), NSDQ 100 (PKR 566.678 million), Crude Oil (PKR 133.742 million), DJ (PKR 114.218 million), Natural Gas (PKR 91.805 million), SP500 (PKR 36.098 million) and Copper (PKR 16.084 million).
