PM launches largest Ease of Doing Business program

August 09, 2024 (MLN): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved the launch of the largest-ever reform program for Ease of Doing Business in Pakistan.

According to the Information Ministry, the approval was granted during a meeting regarding ease of doing business, in Islamabad yesterday.

Under this program, the establishment of the first digital registry of Pakistani laws and regulations for the promotion of business and investment was also approved.

Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister thanked the international organizations for showing interest in funding this project. The Prime Minister directed the international organizations that expressed interest in funding the project to finalize the agreement.

The Prime Minister instructed the relevant authorities and ministries to ensure the timely practical implementation of the policy measures in this regard. He constituted a special committee for the implementation of the project.
