PM Khan to visit Saudi Arabia on Tuesday

September 17, 2018 (MLN): Imran Khan, in his first foreign visit after assuming office as the Prime Minister of Pakistan, will be visiting Saudi Arabia for a one-day official visit tomorrow on Tuesday, according to Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

The announcement comes several days after the Saudi Information Minister visited Pakistan and met with the top leadership of the country, including PM and other civil and military officials.

Pakistan’s new government has on several occasions reiterated its commitment to maintain outstanding relations with all its regional partners, and relationship with Saudi Arabia remains dear to each successive government of Pakistan.

FM Qureshi said, “Prime Minister Imran Khan is visiting Riyadh on the invitation of Saudi leadership,” adding that the visit will further strengthen Pak-Saudi relations.
