PM Imran Khan directs to develop water conservation projects

November 1, 2018: Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the Ministry of Food Security and Research to develop three major projects for conservation of 9 million acre feet of water across the country.

He was presiding over a meeting on water conservation in Islamabad.

The projects approved by the Prime Minister include lining of the water courses across the country and laser leveling of the fields, enhancement of six hundred thousand acres of command area of small and mini dams and water conservation in Barani areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
