PKR trades 2 paisa lower against USD

June 16, 2020 (MLN): Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed today's trading session relatively unchanged against the USD with the rate remaing stable around PKR 164.88

Within the Open Market, PKR was traded at 164.50/166.00 per USD.

Meanwhile, the currency lost 1.6 rupees to the Pound Sterling as the day's closing quote stood at PKR 208.31 per GBP, while the previous session closed at PKR 206.73 per GBP.

Similarly, PKR's value weakened by 1.3 rupees against EUR which closed at PKR 186.86 at the interbank today.

On another note, within the money market, the overnight repo rate towards close of the session was 8.10/8.30 percent, whereas the 1 week rate was 8.00/8.05 percent.
