PKR Loses most of the weeks Gains in Final Session

PKR ended the final session of this week by losing most of the gains it had made during the previous four sessions. It ended at 104.44/45 compared to 104.40/42 from the previous session. The Rupee had opened trading stronger at 104.38/42 before gradually losing stream as the session progressed. The Forward premiums also saw mild increases.

The Money Market ON Rate ended at 6.10/6.25 after an SBP Injection of 1,341.55 Bn in a 7 day Reverse Repo. Overnight Index Average Rate was 5.96/6.46 compared to yesterday's 5.84/6.34, while 6M KIBOR was up 1 basis point at 6.37/6.62 compared to 6.36/6.61 from the previous 3 sessions.
