PIB Auction: SBP sells floating rate PIBs worth Rs.124.55 billion

June 17, 2020 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan conducted an auction on Wednesday in which it sold floating rate PIBs worth Rs.124.552 bill for 3, 5 and 10 years.

The Central Bank received bids worth Rs.164.10 billion against an auction target of Rs.150 billion.

The SBP received bids worth Rs.84.10 billion for 3 year, Rs.48.50 billion for 5 years and Rs.31.50 billion for 10 years out of which the SBP accepted Rs. 60.30 billion, Rs.34.50 billion and Rs.29.50 billion.

The SBP picked up Rs.252 million in non-competitive bids making the total accepted amount 124.552 billion.
