Pakistan’s Karachi Stock Exchange 100 Index performance lackluster today after it closed by gaining just 83 points. The index, however, traded within a 509 points range to settle at 83 points.
Cement, Oil & Gas Exploration Companies and Tobacco closed the session at the bottom after collectively contributing more than 90 points.
Volume traded increased by 17.04% during the session after total volume clocked in at 64.515 million versus 55.121 million yesterday.
Sector-wise all share index turnover was led by Chemical (19.089 million), Cable & Electrical Goods (16.455 million), and Technology & Communication (13.224 million) with Commercial Banks (6.601 million) and Oil & Gas Marketing Companies (6.225 million) stocks trailing at the bottom.
KSE – 100 Index at the day end moved a total of +83.94 points up 0.20%, closing in at 42994.96 points with index high-low range of 43116.82 – 42606.88.
KSE – All Share Index Volume was at 144.836 million shares, value of shares traded for all-shares index reached PKR 6.808 billion.
