Pakistani delegation in Paris for two-day FATF meeting

October 14, 2019: A Pakistani delegation, headed by Economic Affairs Minister Hammad Azhar, is in France to attend a crucial two-day session of Financial Action Task Force, beginning in Paris on Monday.

According to sources, the FATF meeting would discuss a report on the steps taken by Pakistan till April this year and a decision would be made on whether to exclude Islamabad from the inter-governmental organisation's grey list.

Measures taken by Pakistan to prevent terrorist financing will also be reviewed in the FATF meeting.

Sources said Pakistan has already implemented most of the FATF measures.
