Pakistan, World Bank and ADB sign loan agreements worth USD 750 million

July 23, 2020 (MLN): Pakistan has signed loan agreement with World Bank and Asian Development Bank (ADB), amounting to USD 500 million and USD 250 million respectively in Islamabad today.

Accordingly, Pakistan soon will receive total of USD 750 million which would help in shoring up SBP reserves.

As the loan agreements are signed to help country’s economy, therefore, these loans are offered at a very lower interest rate.
