Pakistan, WB discuss cooperation focused on macroeconomic stability

January 23, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan and the World Bank discussed cooperation, with a particular focus on Pakistan's macroeconomic stability.

The discussion took place during a meeting between the Minister of Finance, Muhammad Aurangzeb, and Anna Bjerde, Managing Director of Operations at the World Bank.

This meeting was held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, according to the press release issued.

The finance minister emphasized the government's strong partnership with the Bank and expressed hope that the World Bank would continue to play a key role in the country’s socio-economic development.
