Pakistan, UAE sign multi-billion dollar MoUs

November 27, 2023 (MLN): Pakistan has signed multi-billion dollar Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), caretaker minister for Information, Broadcasting, and Parliamentary Affairs, Murtaza Solangi, took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) conveying a special message from Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq. 

The MoU inked between the two nations signifies a significant milestone, paving the way for a new era of economic cooperation, regional stability, and strategic partnership, he stated.

The Minister expressed his congratulations to the people of Pakistan and the UAE, emphasizing the far-reaching impact of this collaboration.

He expressed that soon the economic benefits will emerge in tangible projects in the coming days.

The agreements are poised to advance bilateral ties in all spheres including political, economic, trade, investment, cultural, defence and people-to- people relations.

The MoUs are in a range of areas, likely including investment cooperation in the sectors of Energy, Port Operations Projects, Waste Water Treatment, Food Security, Logistics, Mining, Aviation, and Banking & Financial Services.

Pakistan and the UAE enjoy warm and long-standing fraternal ties that have stood multiple tests of time.
