Pakistan, Turkiye to strengthen ties as Erdogan begins visit

February 13, 2025 (MLN):  A high-level delegation from Turkiye, led by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is set to arrive in Pakistan today for a two-day visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and economic cooperation.

Invited by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, President Erdogan’s visit will feature engagements with top Pakistani leadership, including the co-chairing of the 7th Session of the Pakistan-Turkiye High Level Strategic Cooperation Council.

According to the Foreign Office, the visit will include discussions on key areas of collaboration, with senior Turkish ministers, officials, and corporate leaders accompanying the President.

The session is expected to conclude with the signing of a Joint Declaration alongside multiple agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to further enhance strategic cooperation between the two nations.
