Pakistan to get financing of $3bn in FY23

January 12, 2023 (MLN): Pakistan will receive $3 billion during this current fiscal year 2023, Secretary Planning Commission Zafar Ali Shah said during an interview with media official in Islamabad.

From next month, Pakistan will start receiving funds from World Bank (WB), Asian Infrastructure Bank (AIB), Asian Development Bank payments, he said.

Further, he added that WB, ADB, and AIB have given loan for flood and rehabilitation for period of 40 years at an interest rate of 1%.

The government for post flood recovery has spent $1.5bn, and decided to further spend $8bn for next three years.

Moreover, the government in trying to control fall in growth rate this year.
