Pakistan Sports Complex to be used for GoP Ijarah Sukuk issuance

November 28, 2023 (MLN): The GoP Ijarah Sukuk (GIS) will now be issued on the identified asset of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB), which includes Pakistan Sports Complex, the latest circulars issued by the SBP’s Domestic Market & Monetary Management Department showed today.

The identified asset will be used together with identified, unencumbered, and undisputed land of PSB surrounding the asset.

These lands would be identifiable by survey numbers and area, and would be identified as the proposed Asset to facilitate issuance of GIS.

It can be used for fresh issuance as well as re-opening of GIS, the central bank added.

The complete Structure and Assets described by the central bank are detailed in 'Annexure-A'.
