Pakistan seeks Japanese expertise for workforce training

January 22, 2025 (MLN): Japanese companies have been invited to provide training to local human resources, ensuring alignment with the demands of the global market by Chaudhry Salik Hussain, the Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development.

In a meeting with Japanese Ambassador H.E. Akamatsu Shuichi in Islamabad, he highlighted that Pakistan and Japan have been long-standing economic partners.

The Minister expressed Pakistan's desire to leverage Japanese expertise in training its human resources, according to the press release.

He emphasized the importance of cooperation in technical assistance.

Additionally, he proposed the establishment of a joint technical college in Pakistan to equip the younger generation with skills aligned with the Japanese market.
