Pakistan opens doors to foreign investors via SIFC

March 03, 2025 (MLN): The Special Investment Facilitation Council is actively facilitating investments from various countries to strengthen Pakistan's economic landscape.

In this regard, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) have been signed between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirate aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation.

The UAE has shown interest in investing across multiple sectors, including banking, mining, railways, and infrastructure.

A key agreement between Pakistan Railways and the UAE’s Etihad Rail is anticipated to enhance the railway network, according to the press release.

This strategic partnership between Pakistan and the UAE aims to foster collaboration in trade, investment, and energy sectors.
