Pakistan, Oman pledge broader cooperation across sectors

April 14, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan and Oman have reiterated their commitment to deepen and broaden the fraternal relations between the two countries across various sectors for mutually beneficial outcomes.

This understanding was reached during a telephone conversation between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi.

Both leaders extended invitations to visit each other's countries and agreed to schedule these visits at the earliest mutually convenient dates.

The discussion also covered matters concerning regional and international peace and security, as per the press release.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar expressed appreciation to the Sultanate of Oman for its role in facilitating dialogue between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States.
