'Pakistan offers greater connectivity, trade opportunities'

March 15, 2019: President Dr Arif Alvi says confidence of foreign investors has increased due to restoration of peace in the country.
Addressing business leaders' summit in Islamabad, he said Pakistan has successfully defeated the menace of terrorism due to efforts of security forces.
The President said Pakistan lies at an important geostrategic location and offers greater connectivity and trade opportunities to the regional countries.
He said the incumbent government is providing all out facilities to domestic and foreign investors by ensuring ease of doing business, eradication of corruption and transparency in the country.
Regarding regional situation, the President said Pakistan is a peaceful country and wants good relations with all its neighbors, including India.
