Pakistan needs strategy for economic, climate challenges: Ahsan

March 24, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan must adopt a strategic, coordinated, and results-oriented approach to tackle its dual challenges of economic stability and climate change, Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said.

During a telephonic conversation with senior trade leader Iftikhar Ali Malik, he emphasized that all strategies are being aligned with the National Economic Transformation Plan, URAAN Pakistan 2024-2029.

Ahsan Iqbal highlighted the importance of bridging the gap between academia and the private sector to drive technological advancement and skill development, according to the press release.

He further reaffirmed the government’s commitment to policy reforms and institutional partnerships to enhance collaboration.
