Pakistan, Malaysia pledge to enhance bilateral ties through close cooperation

March 05, 2024 (MLN): Pakistan and Malaysia on Monday emphasized the importance of regular high-level exchanges and agreed to work closely to further strengthen the existing ties between the two countries.

According to a press release issued on the said day, the newly elected prime minister, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif received a congratulatory telephone call from Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia.

The Prime Minister extended an invitation to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to visit Pakistan.

While accepting the invitation, the Malaysian Prime Minister also invited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to visit Malaysia.
