Pakistan, Kazakhstan to sign education MoUs soon

April 09, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan and Kazakhstan are set to soon sign Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) in the field of education, as stated by Minister Khalid Hussain Magsi.

The declaration came during a meeting between the Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Khalid Hussain Magsi, and the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, where various aspects of enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries were discussed.

The meeting underscored the importance of strengthening ties in education, scientific research, and technology, according to the press release.

The Kazakh Ambassador shared that Kazakhstan will soon officially announce its participation in the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project, marking a new era of energy collaboration and economic connectivity in the region.

Furthermore, the Kazakh Ambassador expressed interest in establishing a joint research center at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, further deepening the educational and scientific collaboration between the two countries.

Both sides also agreed on the need to improve the business environment, take joint steps against smuggling, and expand cooperation in science, technology, and education.

This meeting marks an important step towards enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation between Pakistan and Kazakhstan in a variety of sectors.
