April 19, 2024 (MLN): The World Bank report from 2022 dubbed “From Swimming in the Sand to High and Sustainable Growth” which laid out a clear roadmap for Pakistan to become a High Middle-Income Country by 2047, has the potential to help grow the country from over $300 billion to $3 trillion by 2047," stated Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb.

Aurangzeb attended the “Roundtable on Implementing for Faster Results and Greater Impact” organized by the World Bank.

In his intervention, appreciated the thought leadership of WB.

He emphasized that WB’s focus on climate change, digitalization, and human development aligned with government priorities.

The Minister also appreciated a single platform being launched tomorrow to enhance the operational effectiveness of the Bank.

It is pertinent to mention here that Aurangzeb is leading Pakistan’s delegation in the IMF / World Bank’s 2024 Spring Meetings being held in Washington DC.
