Pakistan aims to improve budget making effectiveness with digitization

December 07, 2023 (MLN): The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Minister of Finance discussed digitizing the budget process to improve its effectiveness during the kick off meeting of the IMF Technical Assistance Mission, said a press release issued today.

The Federal Minister for Finance, Dr. Shamshad Akhtar underscored the need to tailor the recommendations to the specific needs of the Ministry to improve the effectiveness of budget making process through digitization.

Technical Assistance Mission assured to propose implementable solutions to the Ministry.
