Pakgen Power executes agreement to terminate contracts

February 18, 2025 (MLN): Pakgen Power Limited (PSX: PKGP) has formally executed a Negotiated Settlement Agreement to terminate its Power Purchase Agreement, Implementation Agreement, and Guarantee, following the approval of shareholders during the company’s Extraordinary General Meeting on January 27, 2025.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.

PKGP was incorporated in Pakistan on 22 June 1995 under the repealed Companies Ordinance, 1984 (now Companies Act, 2017).

The principal activities of the Company are to own, operate and maintain a fuel fired power station having gross capacity of 365 MW in Mehmood Kot, Muzaffargarh, Punjab, Pakistan.
