PABC expects order decline despite peak season amid security issues

May 22, 2024 (MLN): Pakistan Aluminium Beverage Cans Limited (PSX: PABC) expects a negative impact on its order bookings during the peak season owing to ongoing security issues at Chamman.
PABC shared the development in its notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday.
"We are experiencing logistical disruptions and a shortage of vehicles for our exports to Afghanistan, which may impact revenue from Afghan exports," the notice reads.
It added, "Coupled with the near 25% YoY decline in local order bookings, we expect a negative impact on our order bookings during the peak season."
