Overseas Pakistanis remit USD 2.04 Billion in July 2019

Aug 09, 2019 (MLN): Overseas Pakistanis remitted USD 2.04 billion in the month of July 2019 compared to USD 1.65 billion in June 2019 showing an increase of USD 393.59 million over the previous month.

According to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan the remittances increased by USD 57.57 million compared to July 2018.

Saudi Arabia was the largest source of remittances having contributed USD 470.95 million followed by UAE with USD 427.33 million and USA providing USD 332.37 million.
